There are no modifications required to install the MAX-11/9 Upper Receiver. You simply remove your upper and bolt assembly and insert the bolt assembly in the MAX-11/9 Upper and install on your lower receiver.
Please note that the MAX-11/9 Upper Receiver does not come with a bolt assembly. Also, if it is not obvious, it does not include the buttstock, stock adapter, lower receiver, optics, etc.
